A chic experience

You haven't experienced true chic-ness until you watch the documentary Valentino: the Last Emperor. This documentary captures Valentino's last moments as one of the last standing Emperor's of high fashion. He knows he's the shit, he knows he's close to retiring, and this documentary captures it all...Italians + gays + fashion/haute couture = brilliance. If you have Netflix, you can watch it instantly online. If you don't, you suck and you're missing pure fabulosity.

End of an era

For those of you that are in the know, Lost is over. I am/was a huge Lost fan so now I have a void to fill every Tuesday night. I don't even want to get into it so I'd rather just leave a wonderful piece of art done by Marilyn Manson, a Lostie, of John Locke. It's brilliant. Thank you Manson, thank you Lost. Confessions of a shoe whore

It's a little known fact that I'm a shoe and bag freak. I've tried to curb the addiction in recent years but every so often I just see a shoe or bag and I have to have it. I also secretly love wearing heels but have no reason to wear them in my daily life. Below are some heels I couldn't pass up and so far I've managed to wear them and stumble around drunk, fabulous, and flawlessly (sort of) in two different states. Tomorrow I'll add to my collection a pair of red platform pumps towering in at nearly 5inches high. Chic.

A blanket you can wear?

I live on the coast so I'm always freezing with this fucking coastal wind and drafty WWII era windows. A lot of people think I'm joking when I say I want one, but I'm serious. I asked for one for Christmas and Santa snubbed me. It's still on my wish list in case anyone is feeling generous. Until then, I shall continue to freeze and plot Santa's demise.

My Pilot Show to TV World

This was meant to be a post ages ago but I forgot about it until I found these fabulous pics on my desktop. Famed celeb crazy, Mike Tyson was getting some show about him and his pigeons. IDEA-why not throw more crazy to the fire and have a total bird/rehab mash up and throw Ms. Fleiss into the mix with her parrots!
Dr. Drew can even be on it dressed as the resident Owl (to keep with the bird theme) who offers wise advice. Animal Planet, you are sitting on reality TV gold, run with it $$$$$
